Because of age difference we had different worlds and different lifestyles. However we were always near each other (same address.)  I always said out of the 4 of us kids you and I were alike and you agreed! We are the oldest of each set the scorpio and the leo. Mom use to say she never had to worry about you and I!  We were the independent ones , the fiesty ones, the innovative do our own thing ones, We were the we dont need marriage and or partner to make us happy, we can live alone cause we cant deal with the drama ones. We were the political and socially outspoken ones. 

 All my memories of you will always be of when me and Donald were kids and mom worked .  You were the best big brother ever chasing us around the house , scarying us , playing games.  Even now you know how to make everyone laugh to the point of pain in the stomach and not being able to breath. 

I love you and felt really hurt of your passing because I had just moved to Korea a month and half ago and had wanted to fly you here to visit me eventually.  You kissed me my last week in Chicago and said you loved me and take care and stay intouch and I thought for sure I would see you when I returned home for summer. I wanted you to continue to follow my journey in korea via facebook .  I still have your messages on my cell phone here.  It wont ever be the same at home in chicago again . Your apartment downstairs from mines is a big empty space. Now that you are gone its a huge void in everyones life . The earth seemed to move and shift and something just doesnt feel right to all of us without you here. 

Do know that you are loved? Thank you for visiting me in spirit and please look out for mom!  Cause we are looking out for Kinzie!

Written just for you my first friend and loving brother.

     When a day goes by, it takes with it the hours, moments and seconds from the day before....

      It is than that we are able to rejoice in the value of what is gone if we had not learned the value of it when it was....

And the only thing that makes it better is the love we have from day to day....

      To be someone's friend and sister is to be someone's everyday....

     And in that everyday I have allowed myself limitless joy, laughter, incurable giggles, fear of failing, hope in succeeding, shared spankings and forgetable disagreements.....

      You were my everyday first thing in the morning and last thing in the evening...

      you were my first teacher of the duties of a little sister, bad decisions, mud pies, worm hunts, falling off a bike, protecting me from bullies, telling me MY stitches wouldn't hurt and laying in the bedroom doorway sneaking and watching Godzilla after bedtime....You were my everyday sibling confusion, clarity, fellow scientist and my everyday life....

     Where would I be without something so powerful in my life... Where would I go if I were missing the true direction you gave me... Who would I truly, honestly be to my very substance and in my heart if I did not have you as My Very First and Very Best Friend and my Much Loved Big Brother.... When I think of Kenny now all I can think of is his laugh and how I could be across a crowded room or a picnic in the park and I could recognize his laugh. On this road of life I have met many people, none more loved and chersihed than Kenny. I am proud to have been able to call him my friend.

I want Kenzie to know that her Daddy was 110% in love with you and gushed with pride whenever he talked about you. He was a changed man from the 1st time he saw you and you were the most precious thing in his life. Always be proud of your Daddy's legacy.

As with all his friends, we were selfish. We never even considered a world without Kenny being in it. He was so many things to so many of us. He was our confidant, our protector, our referee, our comedian, our singer, our brother, our frat brother, and our Bartender. The world is a strange place without you Kenny, but we all love you and you will live on in our memories and in the laugh of your little angel Kenzie.

Thank you Bro for always being there.

Big Poppa always had a warm smile and the BIGGEST HUG ever.  He was a true mixologist.  He would whip up a drink, wouldn't tell you what it was, and it was always AWESOME.  He wanted everyone to enjoy themselves and always helped me celebrate. If he missed a gathering, it was because he was working. When I told my mom he passed, she shared with me that when she first met him they had the best conversation.  She said she felt like she had known him forever...he made everyone feel that way.  

He loved, loved, loved Kenzie and was so proud to be her daddy.  He would text me pictures of her whenever he got a new one. Coming home after visiting her was so tough on him.

Rest in Peace dear friend, rest in peace.
